I was in search for a warm, excellent looking, comfortable sweater. I found one at Aran. Please thank each person involved in making this sweater it is gorgeous. Please thank all the folks involved in getting me this sweater. I can not believe how quick it made it here to the states, Colorado. I wore it to the dentist office and a woman working for the dentist was from Dublin and she recognized the sweater as she saw it. All the best to you all, William Turnham. PS, I hope to visit the Aran islands some day.

What fantastic products! I placed my order on monday and I received my sweaters on wednesday! Considering that I'm in Italy, it's really the speediest service I've ever seen! I have looked everywhere for these Irish Mittens – just like the ones I grew up with. These days you can only find them in Polyester. I ordered the mittens, the peak hat, and the scarf, and tracked the package from Ireland to Germany to the States. I was so excited tonight when I got home and DHL man was delivering my package. When I opened it I was not disappointed – the items were all exactly as pictured. I promptly put them all on and modeled them for my husband and boys. I grew up in cold snowy winters in Boston and had mittens like these…never to be found again...until now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new purchase! Highly recommend. Will absolutely be buying a couple baby gift packs to give as presents. Beautiful product and well-made, both of which are hard to come by these days.

I have purchased two sweater kits and must say, everything about this store and the people who work there is just great. The yarn is great and the directions are simple to follow. The first sweater is finished and the second just about half-way and both are just beautiful. I did have a few questions along the way and each question was answered promptly and concisely. I had one problem with insufficient yarn and everyone went out of their way to resolve the problem, which they did in record time. I must say, such wonderful customer service is a rarity today, especially in the US and is greatly appreciated by me. I'm sure whatever you order, will be perfect and you'll love it. Their shipping department is wonderful. Everything ordered has arrived within two days -- from Ireland to New Jersey. I can't get local deliveries that fast. I'm really impressed with this company and it's employees and can't say enough good things about them. Try them, you won't be sorry.

My Mom brought me back a zip cardigan from her trip to Ireland in early 2009 (she actually broke her hip there-I was extra happy she bought my sweater first!) and I adore it. It is the warmest sweater I have ever owned and I put it on every night. My Mom passed away in February, so it means even more to me now. Keep up the great quality & craftmanship!

My ivory colored sweater is extremely lovely. It is a garment that will not "date itself" due to the fashion industry standards. Who cares about that anyway? In Minnesota, USA what one really cares about is staying warm in winter. This sweater provides lots of warmth during the coldest of days. I bought a lovely mint green jumper just a couple of weeks ago. It arrived within about a week and had to travel half way around the world to get to me in Sydney. The jumper is beautiful. I have worn it almost every day here in the Blue Mountains, where temperatures can drop quite low. After reading a review, I ordered a small even though I am a size 12 in Australia. The jumper is a perfect, snug fit and I certainly wouldn't have wanted it any bigger. I have had lots of positive comments - thank you for a beautiful jumper.

For years, I have tried to get my husband an Irish sweater, and year after year i have failed. he is very tall and no sweater was long enough in the sleeves to fit him. I am so pleased to say that not only did I find a sweater that is long enough for him bit also his Aran clan. I cant wait for him to see his sweater on Christmas morning. I recently ordered the Button Hooded Coat in stone colour and I have to say I am absolutely delighted with it. I contacted Aran Sweater Market beforehand to ask which size they suggested would be best, M or L, as I did not want to have to return it. I am a size 14 - 16 Uk. On their advice I bought L which fits perfectly. The design is very stylish and has been much admired here in SW France. I hadn't realised that Aran cardigans are cutting edge fashion at the moment ! The cardigan is well made and the all over interesting cable design really makes it a bit special. The stone colour is a little bit darker than the picture shows, but will wear well and not need washing too often. I expect it to last a very long time with proper care. In all an excellent buy from a firm I'd happily deal with again. Buy with confidence.

I visited Ireland (from the U.S.) earlier this year, and was not able to purchase as many gifts as I would have liked to. I found Aran Sweater Market online, and was thrilled to be able to order some items that I knew were made there. The site had wonderful pictures, and when I had questions, the staff replied quickly and were very helpful. I placed my order, and it arrived at my home in Michingan within a couple days!! I've just received an item I ordered for my wife for Christmas and I wanted to say just how delighted I am with the quality of the item and your service. I had been looking for a garment like this all over the internet and in my local shops for ages but without success. The Aran Zipper cardigan in red was not despatched from the Aran Islands until late Friday and was with me first thing Monday morning. The cardigan is beautifully soft, very stylish and no doubt will keep my wife who really feels the cold, very warm during the winter. The colour is the best shade of red possible and not only is appropriate for the time of year but is very striking and perhaps rarer than some of the more traditional colours. The accompanying notes also say that looked after properly, it will last a lifetime - quite a claim but seeing the quality for myself, I can believe it. I now can say I have the most beautiful wool sweaters from Ireland. I will definitely purchase more from you. I live in a very rural area of the United States that is considered a ranching/ski area. My sweaters will definitely be envied. If you have business cards that have your website on them, please send me some. I will pass them out to future customers. It tends to get very cold in the winter here in Idaho and I know others will ask as to where I purchased my sweaters. The temperature is 72 degrees today so it is still too warm to wear them, but snow is not far off. I visited my husband's aunt and uncle outside Dublin (Port Elois). Loved it loved it loved it!!! I bought some great yarns in one of the shops and made scarves and hats. Ireland is one of my favorite places in the world. It's as green as they say it is and more. My husband kin is from Mount Melluck, Tullamore and Dublin. Cant wait to get back there some day.
